PAYMENT TERMS AND TAXES |
Advertised prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude shipping, insurance, handling and taxes unless otherwise noted. You are responsible for paying all taxes associated with your order unless you can provide tax exemption reseller forms. Prices and configurations are subject to change without notice before LaptopBatteries.com submits your order. Payment is due upon placing your order or as otherwise stated in your invoice.
Orders billed by LaptopBatteries.com will include sales tax on all shipments to California. For orders billed directly by one of our vendors, please review the product description page for the appropriate states that sales tax will be charged. LaptopBatteries.com accepts California State reseller certificates only if they are submitted prior to purchase. To submit your Reseller Certificate for tax-exempt status, you must fax your reseller's license to LaptopBatteries.com at (714) 844-4320, Attention: Resellers Permit. We will update our system within 48 hours of receipt to ensure that your future orders are not taxed. [ top ]

SHIPPING AND TITLE |
The purchaser pays freight and shipping. LaptopBatteries.com will arrange to ship products to you at an address you designate. Title to and risk of loss of the products passes to you when LaptopBatteries.com delivers them to the shipper, as allowed under item 2303 of the Uniform Commercial Code and corresponding state laws. All freight, insurance, and other related charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchaser shall be responsible for promptly advising LaptopBatteries.com of any loss and for filing a claim for recovery of any loss during transit.
ALL ORDERS WILL BE DELIVERED TO PURCHASER SIGNATURE REQUIRED UNLESS “NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED” IS REQUESTED; THIS IS FOR YOUR SECURITY. TITLE TO ANY SOFTWARE REMAINS WITH THE LICENSOR OF THE SOFTWARE. YOUR USE OF ANY SOFTWARE IS SUBJECT TO LICENSE AGREEMENTS APPLICABLE TO THE SOFTWARE. [ top ]

WARRANTY STATEMENT |
LaptopBatteries.com is a reseller of diverse, new, used, and recycled products and claims no association to any manufacturer. All product markings applied by LaptopBatteries.com are for identification purposes and are not used to indicate product origin. Where appropriate, products are marked with a serial number sticker and warranty on such products is void if this sticker is removed or tampered with.

Purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold LaptopBatteries.com harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, expenses or loss LaptopBatteries.com suffer as a result of unauthorized warranties and/or representations as to origin made by purchaser in connection with the resale of this product.

LaptopBatteries.com warranties all products to the terms specified on the front of each invoice, and should product not meet any such warranty, LaptopBatteries.com will issue a credit or replace the product. All products are warranted for 90 days unless otherwise noted. LaptopBatteries.com offers a 30-day money back guarantee on all defective and incompatible products. Functional products returned for credit will be assessed with a 25% restock fee.

The limited warranty provided by LaptopBatteries.com covers normal use. Its does not
supercede or extend the Original Electronic Manufacturer (OEM) warranty, when applicable. It does not apply to 1) defects resulting from improper or inadequate installation, use or maintenance; 2) actions or modifications by unauthorized third parties or the Purchaser; 3) accidental or willful damage; or 4) normal wear and tear. RETURNS |
We are committed to your satisfaction. Within the warranty period, items can be returned for replacement or repair or if the item is not in stock a store credit will be issued, once a Returned Materials Authorization (“RMA”) has been obtained. Refunds are only available within the first 30 days from the date of the invoice (shipping, insurance and handling charges are non-refundable). Any functional products returned for credit are subject to a 25% restocking fee. [ top ]

| RMA Information |
a. Any shortages must be reported within 3 days of receipt. You may do this by phone ONLY.
|
b. For all returns you will need to contact us to request an authorization number. You
can do this at anytime by contacting us toll free at 888-LAPTOPS, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm PST to request an RMA. Be advised that numbers and specific RMA information are issued by phone only. Unauthorized and unmarked returns will not be accepted.

c. Please have the following information available when calling or submitting an RMA request: invoice number, the name the order was placed under, item number, and the nature of the problem.
|
d. All returns must be shipped back in the original packaging material and box.
Failure to do so may invalidate both the RMA and the warranty.
|
e. You will have 30 days from the date the RMA is issued to return the product, otherwise a 25% re-stocking fee will be applied regardless of the reason of return. This 30-day period does not apply to the refund period, which is 30 days from the date of the invoice. After the 30-day period has expired, a new RMA number will need to be obtained.
|
f. All returns must include any cables, driver disks or any other accessories provided with the order unless otherwise authorized.
|
g. All returns must be shipped prepaid. Returns shipped C.O.D. will be refused.
|
h. Remember to take note of your RMA number. You will need it as a reference. Replacements can be shipped two ways:
|
1. You can request an advance replacement charged to your credit card that will ship right away.
2. You can wait for your item to come back before we ship your replacement.
|
i. Refunds and credits are available only after the return has been received, tested and verified for authenticity. For your RMA status, please e-mail rma@laptopbatteries.com or call toll free: 1-888-LAPTOPS.

j. Manufacturers warranty is assumed void unless otherwise stated on your invoice. The LaptopBatteries.com warranty will be voided at any time if the products are not returned in their original condition as sold, matching the specifications and serial numbers for all components contained therein. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between LaptopBatteries.com and the Purchaser and all claims and disputes in connection with the sale of products hereunder shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Purchaser agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, California, USA and that said court shall have the exclusive right to resolve any and all claims arising under this agreement. Purchaser agrees that all rights and obligations of the parties hereunder, including performance, enforcement and collection shall be governed in accordance with the laws and in the State of California. In the event that it becomes necessary to incur any expense for collection of sums due under this agreement, attorney’s fees, court costs and any other collection expenses will be added to the balance due. All unpaid balances shall accrue interest at the rate of one and a half (1.5) percent per month in addition to attorney’s fees, court costs and other collection expenses.
